internships
ILYouth2 internships are intended to give young artists, educators, and organizers practical experience and essential art world connections; while investing in youth leadership.
Internships are currently unpaid, but offer the opportunity to directly shadow the ILYouth2 and ILY2 leadership team and our teaching artists. We work with schools to help students get school credit when possible, and happily remain in community with previous interns, writing reference letters, making connections, and providing support wherever we can!

Our College Internship is an opportunity aimed at undergraduate students, to work directly with the ILYouth2 director. The position primarily covers outreach tasks, assisting our instructors, and supporting our youth artists; but there is also the opportunity to develop a special project for ILYouth2 that explicitly aligns with the intern’s own professional goals, if desired.
The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate and interested in the arts, arts education, youth development, and larger creative arena; and is eager to learn.
