Autumn Arts Camp: Art Toy Adventure: Kreaturz!
We’re stoked to be offering our second annual Autumn Arts Camp!! This year we’re bringing you project-based days that will deep-dive into subjects and mediums that will flex campers’ creative skills!
Saturday, November 29th: Art Toy Adventure: Kreaturz!
With the recent surge in the popularity of art toys and collectibles (Labubus, Sonny Angels, Squishmallows, Funkos, etc) we wanted to help young artists explore how they can create their OWN creative creatures instead of buying into trends! So we’re bringing in a local expert, Kymil, the artist behind Kreaturz, for a special one day of our Autumn Arts Camp!!
Spend the day building your very own creature from start to finish! We’ll sketch ideas, sculpt and bake them, then bring each creature to life with paint, accessories, and imagination. Along the way, we’ll discover more about who our creatures are, and how every piece of art tells a greater story.

About the special guest Teaching Artist:
Kymil Jeneé (they/he) is the artist behind Kreaturz, a hands-on art world that celebrates imagination, self-expression, and creative repair. Through sculpture, storytelling, and play, we’ll bring our own creatures to life and explore how they transform, begin to take shape, and reveal who they’re becoming along the way. Each creature is one of a kind (just like each of us), and every step of the process helps us learn more about the worlds we’re building together.
