Our monthly Intergenerational LGBTQIA2S+ Art Hangout is back!!!

This is a monthly gathering for LGBTQIA2S+  folks* of all ages to come together, hang out, and make art!

Intergenerational community is essential for young queer people; whether it’s to discuss inherently queer topics, to model things like ‘chosen family’, or simply for representation and kinship. It’s also nice for queer folks to have a safe space to hang out, where there is no pressure to be doing anything other than just existing and creating!

We have lots of space–come sit at a table with new friends, or carve out a cozy corner for yourself! You can bring your own materials, or we’ll have some basics set out (collage materials, paper, pencils, etc!). Folks are also welcome to bring a book, homework, or other project to work on. Stay for the full time or just stop by for a bit!

*LGBTQIA2S+ folks are welcome to bring allies to these art hangouts (eg: LGBTQIA2S+ parents can bring their children who do not identify as LGBTQIA2S+ ; LGBTQIA2S+ youth can bring their parents and/or siblings who do not identify as LGBTQIA2S+ ; and any LGBTQIA2S+ folks can bring supportive friends and/or partners who do not identify as LGBTQIA2S+). Allies are guests during this time, and expected to behave in ways that center the autonomy and care of our LGBTQIA2S+ community members
