Portland Schools are out for the week, so we’re having camp!! (M, Tu, W & F, no camp Thursday!)

WEDNESDAY: In STOP MOTION we’ll be covering the fundamentals of stop motion animation! Are you as enamored with Wildwood as we are?! Curious to know more about why over a THOUSAND artists and craftspeople (including 49 animators) worked for SIXTEEN years to make this film?! What is so magical about this tactile, hands-on medium?! This is an all levels day camp, so youth with experience will be welcome to jump right into animating, and youth who are new to the process will have lots of opportunities to learn and experiment! We’ll begin with some object animation, move into paper cut animation, then end the day with claymation!
