Portland Schools are out for the week, so we’re having camp!! (M, Tu, W & F, no camp Thursday!)

FRIDAY: In GAME LAB we’ll be creating our own board and card games, game jam style! What’s a game jam, you ask? A game jam is a timed event where game makers (artists, designers, writers, storytellers, developers, even musicians) try to create a playable game from scratch. We’ll go over all the basics of game design, and talk about different types of card and board games. Youth are welcome to come with an existing game idea, or completely fresh! They can work individually, or collaborate with other artists to create something fun!
